The Black Lake - Lenije is situated at 1634 m above see level, near the village of Leni, a municipality in the Gramsh District. It is a lake of glacial origin. Around the lake there is beech forest, orchards and grass vegetation. The shape of the lake is elongated. It is about 1000 - 1200 m long, about 200 - 300 m wide. In the beech forest there are trees that are 25 to 30 meters high and centuries old. Lake water is used to treat diseases such as rheumatism, but there is still no medical confirmation of its cure.
