Lake Valmara is situated on the mountain that has the same name at about 2200m above sea level, near the village of Leni in Gramsh District. Valmara is one of the three glacial lakes with an average length of 300m and an average width of 200m. All three lakes have crystal clear and cold water. During winter, the top layer freezes regularly. The lakes have a rich wildlife and form an interesting ecosystem characteristic of the Alpine Lakes. Due to its natural beauty, the place is a real tourist attraction.
