Near the village of Fierze, on the Dumre Plateau in the Elbasan District at about 1,600 meters above sea level, is located the natural Lake of Branches, considered to be one of the most beautiful lakes of the Dumre Region. It is a unique lake ecosystem with rich wildlife. Made of limestone, the water temperature in the winter is about 8 degrees and to a depth of 15 meters, the dissolved oxygen in the water is 1,5 mg/l. Due to its beautiful nature, this region is highly visited by domestic and foreign tourists.
