To the south of Elbasan, in the upper part of the Salt Lake, are located the thermal baths rich in minerals necessary for the treatment of various diseases. The place is known for its medical and recreational tourism, and besides medical baths and hotels, private lodging houses are offered. What is particularly interesting is that the region has preserved an oak forest of scientific value because it is part of a large tectonic movement.
