In the monastery complex “St. Athanasius”and “The Most Holy Mother of God” in Leshok on 27 August, “Leshok Folk Fest ” is traditionally held. Renowned and proven Macedonian folk interpreters and authors present new songs in the spirit of the Macedonian folk tradition. The festival this year is also held in cooperation with the Tetovo-Gostivar Diocese of the Macedonian Orthodox Church - Ohrid Archbishopric. Organizer of Lesok Folk Fest is the Association for Nurturing Macedonian Folklore and Tradition - "Istočnik".
