The history of this ancient city made us feel proud every time we visited. In a way, Kruja is the "waiting room" where strangers will be familiar with our centuries-old history. It can undoubtedly be called the biggest tourist attraction in Albania, both for tourists and for us. Program: 1. We start our visit in the Old Market of Kruja, which is the most famous bazaar since constitutes the first important stop in the city. In its shops you will find traditional craftsmen who work with traditional carpets, cellars, silverware, copper, as well as full of special souvenirs. Traders are also willing to tell you the history of the object you are interested in. 2. We will continue with the visit to the fortress of Kruja, the symbol of the Albanian resistance against the Ottoman Empire. The castle of Kruja occupied one of the most important sites in the history of Albania during the Skanderbeg period, which first raised the flag with the double-headed eagle on November 28, 1443. After having enjoyed lunch, inside the castle is another museum where to stop “The National Ethnographic Museum” was built in a '700 villa, which best reflects the architecture of the time, the lives of the locals, the objects importantly, as well as characteristic clothing preserved over the centuries.
